AB 2320 - Wildlife Connectivity and Climate Adaptation Act of 2024: wildlife corridors (Irwin) | Cal Parks

Our Position

Support

Would require the California Natural Resources Agency to identify key wildlife corridors, connections between natural areas and habitats, progress on protecting additional corridors, and protection goals for the next five years.

Position Statement

Creating safe crossings and corridors for wildlife are an important part of protecting California's significant biodiversity, a key part of the state's 30 x 30 Framework. We support adding this additional accountability to the state's efforts to meet its important climate goals.
