Latino Outdoros

Vamos Outdoors outings program is designed to alleviate real and perceived barriers to the outdoors by providing culturally appropriate programming and fostering a sense of place within outdoor spaces. This program educates members of underrepresented communities about park access and empowers them to take ownership of these public lands. Program activities will include day-hikes, overnight camping, winter activities and historic talks and interpretive presentations led by volunteer leaders. Will also host a leadership campout for staff and volunteers training.
