Description
Join us for our first event of the year at Auburn State Recreation Area to remove invasive plants! We will be cutting rather than pulling french broom plant which is an invasive that grows quite large. Our work will make a visual and ecological difference at the confluence of the north and middle forks of the American River. Ages 12 and older welcome ( minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian). Come out before the program (7:45am) for a birdwatching hike with one of the parks naturalist! Bring your own binoculars if you have them.
