Safety is a top priority for California State Parks Foundation. We have been closely monitoring local, state, and federal agencies regarding the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. As a result of this, we have made the tough decision to postpone our Earth Day Open House celebrations and volunteer events. Click here to learn more about our response to COVID-19 and please check back often for updates.

To celebrate these special occasions, we will host Earth Day events in April that engage Californians with their local state parks through volunteer workday projects focused on climate resiliency. We will also build upon the open house model that we first launched last year by inviting the community to join us in celebrating Earth Day by offering opportunities to learn about the unique features of their local state park and participate in a range of activities.
