The Amah Mutsun Land Trust is adding a new Mutsun interpretive garden within the existing Heritage Garden that will include edible, medicinal, and native species, as well as Amah Mutsun history and culture interpretive panels. The new garden and panels will provide a unique educational experience and expand the park interpretation to include the rich natural and cultural history of the San Juan Bautista area and Native Americans.

"The Amah Mutsun Land Trust is grateful for support from the California State Parks Foundation that will allow us to develop an interpretive native plant garden at San Juan Bautista State Historic Park that teaches about local Native American history, culture, and relationships with the natural world."
