Thank you for your interest in the California State Parks Foundation and Assembly Bill (AB) 2534 (Limón) and Assembly Bill (AB) 2614 (Carrillo) that are two legislative solutions to ensuring all Californians who reflect the diversity of the state are experiencing and visiting state parks.
Assembly Bill 2534 and Assembly Bill 2614 were both successful passing out of the State Assembly. Both bills now head to the State Senate for consideration. We will let you know over the coming months more ways that you can use your voice for parks and support this important legislation.
Another way you can use voice for parks is by voting Yes on Prop 68 on June 5th. Prop 68 offers voters the first natural resources bond passed by the California Legislature in 15 years and is the largest investment of $4.1 billion in natural resources and underserved communities in California's history. With your support, our parks will benefit from critical repairs and improvements so that all Californians will be able to enjoy the natural resources and cultural treasures in our state parks. Learn more about Prop 68 and what you can do.
