"I'm Saving State Parks For…"
Submit - View Gallery

For whom or what are you saving state parks?  As part of CSPF's Save Our State Parks Campaign, we are launching a new campaign action: "I'm Saving State Parks for…" and we want to hear from you.  We're asking park supporters and users to submit pictures, images, drawings, photos, or words that, to you, complete the sentence, "I'm Saving State Parks for…" Your answer can be a person in your life now, someone who is no longer with us, a memory, a drawing, a concept, anything that strikes you as you answer that question – it's all about what personally motivates you to help save our state parks!

We all have lots of reasons that we've stood up in the last two years to fight park closures and to work for a long-term solution to our state parks funding crisis.  Some have worked to save state parks for their families to enjoy for years.  Others because they hold cherished memories of time and people dear to them.  Some because they are grateful to those who protected them for us, and have committed to making them available for future generations of Californians.  Still others have worked to save state parks simply because the parks represent spectacular and unparalleled places of beauty, refuge or wonder in our state.

You can be part of this latest SOS campaign action by clicking here and submitting your pictures, images, drawings, photos, or words.  Your submission will automatically create a poster that contains your special image or message, along with your first name and city.

A certain number of posters were printed and included in a display at the State Capitol on Monday, March 8, as part of the Eighth Annual Park Advocacy Day. View our complete gallery of posters submitted by the public here!

Please take a few moments to be part of this campaign and continue to help to Save Our State Parks!
