"I'm Saving State Parks For…"
We all have lots of reasons that we've stood up in the last two years to fight park closures and to work for a long-term solution to our state parks funding crisis. Some have worked to save state parks for their families to enjoy for years. Others because they hold cherished memories of time and people dear to them. Some because they are grateful to those who protected them for us, and have committed to making them available for future generations of Californians. Still others have worked to save state parks simply because the parks represent spectacular and unparalleled places of beauty, refuge or wonder in our state. You can be part of this latest SOS campaign action by clicking here and submitting your pictures, images, drawings, photos, or words. Your submission will automatically create a poster that contains your special image or message, along with your first name and city. A certain number of posters were printed and included in a display at the State Capitol on Monday, March 8, as part of the Eighth Annual Park Advocacy Day. View our complete gallery of posters submitted by the public here! Please take a few moments to be part of this campaign and continue to help to Save Our State Parks! |
