Volunteers complete multitude of maintenance projects at 24 state parks

An estimated 2,500 park stewards volunteered Saturday morning, April 13, at 24 state parks across California to complete maintenance projects such renovating campfire centers, building bridges and shade ramadas, collecting trash and recyclables from beaches and parks, removing non-native vegetation and sowing plants and trees  - all to beautify their local state parks.  Thank you to all the volunteers, park staff and park partners for another successful Earth Day.  See you in 2014!
