The Barkley Fund

The Barkley Fund supported an important wetlands restoration at Yosemite Slough in Candlestick Point Recreation Area. The project created seven new areas of tidal wetlands, enabling the restoration of wildlife habitats, the improvement of water quality, and the prevention of erosion along the shoreline of the City of San Francisco.

S. D. Betchel Foundation

The S. D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation is dedicated to advancing a productive, vibrant, and sustainable California. The Foundation’s grant programs focus on two primary efforts: preparing California’s children and youth to contribute to the state’s economy and communities, and advancing management of California’s water and land resources. The Foundation has been supporting California’s state parks as part of its effort to strengthen land stewardship in urban and rural communities.


Through support of our Earth Day and Park Champions volunteer programs – in addition to supporting CSPF’s new campaign to create a sustainable future for state parks – Chipotle demonstrates its commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment.

The Coastal Conservancy

California State Coastal Conservancy funding enabled a wetlands restoration project at Yosemite Slough in Candlestick Point State Recreation Area that created seven new acres of tidal wetlands that will restore habitats, improve water quality, and prevent erosion. Most recently, the Conservancy also funded construction drawings for the restoration of Pigeon Point Lighthouse.

Loews Coronado Bay Resort

Loews Hotels “Good Neighbor Policy” has resulted in the extremely generous support of an ongoing beach cleanup program at Silver Strand State Beach, which neighbors the company’s Coronado Bay Resort.

Thomas J. Long Foundation

When 70 of our state parks were threatened with closure in 2012, the Thomas J. Long Foundation provided financial support to help those parks in crisis. CSPF salutes the Long Foundation for answering the call of parks during their hour of need.

The David & Lucile Packard Foundation

The Packard Summer Enrichment Program has helped stem the "summer learning gap" by providing an outdoor educational experience – in state parks and at state beaches – to more than 4,500 underserved youth from ten of California’s densest urban areas since 2009.

CSPF is indebted to Pacific Gas and Electric Company for returning year after year as the presenting sponsor of the Earth Day Restoration and Cleanup Program and for its additional support of our year-round Park Champions volunteer program.

Metabolic Studios

Metabolic Studio has supported several years of maintenance, nature classes and volunteer events at the Anabolic Native Garden at L.A. State Historic Park. Volunteers take care of the garden while the community and local schools participate in plant foraging, basket weaving, and campfire events that reinforce the native people’s connection to modern Los Angeles.


A long-time supporter of CSPF, Toyota is a proud sponsor of the 2013 Golden Poppy Awards Gala and also supports the Parks Online Resources for Teachers and Students program, enhancing science education in K-12 classes throughout California’s public school system.

When 70 state parks were threatened with closure during the summer of 2012, AAA of Northern California generously donated $5 to CSPF each time someone requested an online insurance quote, totaling at a donation of more than $80,000 to help keep parks open.

A long-standing partner of CSPF, Edison International has provided continual support of the Golden Poppy Awards Gala and sponsorship of CSPF’s annual Earth Day Restoration and Clean Up at state parks in Southern California.

The Joseph and Vera Long Foundation

El Monte is represented by wholesale travel companies and travel agents throughout the world. Approximately half of the company's rental business comes from overseas travelers visiting the U.S. CSPF has partnered with Elmonte RV to provide members access to RV rentals.

For over 30 years they’ve called California their home, with offices located in Orange County. Pacsun strives to embrace and deliver all aspects of the California lifestyle to their customers.
