Dear Community Partner,
The California State Parks Foundation invites you to join us for an important convening of California parks community organizations and stakeholders in July 2015. At this meeting, you will be introduced to a plan for a timely public awareness campaign that we believe has the potential to inform, engage and move Californians to support parks on an ongoing basis and to take action at specific moments including November 2016.
Working with community stakeholders and leaders in communications and public relations, CSPF has developed this comprehensive campaign that will remind people that they do — and always have — enjoyed and cared about state parks. We believe it is critical for Californians to feel personally connected to the parks and inspired to take action that ensures their accessibility, sustainability, and long-term excellence.
While we are all working towards this goal in many ways already, now is the time to reach out and connect with millions more Californians in ways we have never been able to do before. Together.
This campaign matters. Join us to learn more and get involved.
Wednesday, July 9, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
