California State Parks Foundation (CSPF) and representatives from nonprofit organizations and businesses that support state parks and hold activities in state parks (A list of contacts for the expo as at the bottom of this advisory).
An expo of featuring of activities, information, and images of state parks along the pedestrian walkway on the North Steps of the Capitol to bring attention to California’s state parks, as part of CSPF’s “State Parks are Great Places” Campaign. Activities during the expo will include butter-churning, kayaking demonstrations, musical performances, and solar astronomy lessons. Giveaways at the expo will include park information and materials, as well as food samples – fresh butter, petit four “wedding cake” samples, and popcorn.
