CSPF Hosts Hidden Stories Conference in LA

Conference focuses on Latino/a history in California through the context of state parks

The California State Parks Foundation is hosting a two-day Hidden Stories Conference: “Folding Back the Layers of Latino/a History: The Stories Beneath the Stories.” The conference will uncover the hidden stories of Latinos in California through the context of state parks and showcase panel discussion and Q&A in three main areas, with presentations from several distinguished speakers.

Keynote speakers include Director of California State Parks Major General Anthony L. Jackson, USMC (Ret); President of California State Parks Foundation Elizabeth Goldstein; Entertainer Ric Salinas of Culture Clash; and Chief Operating Officer of LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes Gustavo Herrera.
